The Lord’s teaching ministry through Rod began in 1986 when he was asked to give his testimony at his church. Being sixteen, shy and incredibly nervous, he delivered a trembling testimony and was shocked to discover that God used it to encourage the saints. Since then, Rod has been asked to speak at hundreds of other venues. His style has been described as “satisfactory”, “adequate”, and “underwhelming”. Of course, that’s Rod’s own description.

Rod has taught Bible studies, youth group meetings, Sunday sermons, Sunday School classes, conferences, retreats, seminars, banquets, chapels, school assemblies and mission projects.

He has spoken for many denominations including Catholics, Methodists, Presbyterians, Brethern, Bible Fellowship, Evangelical Free, non-denominational, Lutheran, Quaker, Episcopal, Mennonite and Baptist groups.

He has spoken for national organizations such as Youth for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Silver Ring Thing, Young Life, Campus Crusade, Presbyterians for Renewal, Scripture Union, etc.
